Sand Tarts

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs light brown sugar
  • ¾ lb butter
  • 2 lb flour
  • 3 eggs
  • milk
  • blanched almonds
  • cinnamon
  • sugar

Instructions
 

  • Milk enough to make a stiff dough. Roll very thin, cut out and brush over with beaten egg and milk mixed together.
  • Put two or three blanched almonds on each tart and dust with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Bake in moderate oven.
