  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups butter
  • 3 cups lard
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 glass strawberry jam
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ grated nutmeg
  • ½ cup sour milk
  • 1 tsp (baking) soda
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Bake in a slow oven.
