Coconut Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1 tsp (baking) soda
- 1 coconut (grated)
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 ½ cups flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 4 eggs (beaten separately)
Notes
In place of the soda and cream of tartar 3 teaspoons of baking powder can be used.
