Golden Cake
The Suffrage Cook Book (1915)
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 egg yokes
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp orange extract
- cream butter
Instructions
- Add sugar gradually and yolks of eggs beaten until thick, add lemon colored extract.
- Mix and sift flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk to first mixture.
