Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp (baking) soda
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teacup molasses
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 ½ cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Dissolve soda in couple teaspoonfuls hot water.
