
Sand Tarts
Ingredients
- 2 lbs light brown sugar
- ¾ lb butter
- 2 lb flour
- 3 eggs
- milk
- blanched almonds
- cinnamon
- sugar
Instructions
- Milk enough to make a stiff dough. Roll very thin, cut out and brush over with beaten egg and milk mixed together.
- Put two or three blanched almonds on each tart and dust with cinnamon and sugar.
- Bake in moderate oven.
