
Norwegian Prune Pudding
Ingredients
- ½ lb prunes
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 inch stick cinnamon
- 1 ⅓ cups boiling water
- ⅓ cup cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Pick out and wash prunes; then soak 1 hour in cold water, and boil until soft; remove stones; obtain meat from stones and add to prunes; then add sugar, cinnamon, boiling water, and simmer ten minutes.
