Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1 tsp (baking) soda
  • 1 coconut (grated)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 ½ cups flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 4 eggs (beaten separately)

Notes

In place of the soda and cream of tartar 3 teaspoons of baking powder can be used.
