
Corn Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 cups corn meal (yellow)
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Sift all dry ingredients—sugar, flour, meal, salt and baking powder.
- Beat yolks and add milk, stir into dry materials. Now beat whites stiff and add. Lastly stir in melted butter.
- Bake in greased pans about twenty to thirty minutes.
