Tomato Pickle
Ingredients
- 2 gallons sliced green tomatoes sprinkled with salt (in a crock)
- 4 small sliced onions
- 2 quarts cider vinegar
- 5 cents mixed spices
- 2 lbs brown sugar
Instructions
- mix onion with tomatoes and let stand. Heat cider vinegar and add. Add spices. Add brown sugar, and boil.
