Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb granulated sugar
  • ¾ lb butter
  • 1 lb flour
  • 1 lb blanched almonds (split)
  • 3 eggs

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugar till very light, add the yolks of the three eggs and the whites of two.
  • Add the flour; roll on the board and cut in oblong or diamond shapes. Beat the white of the remaining egg and bake.
