Ingredients
- 1 cup lard
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp anise seed (ground)
- 1 oz whole coriander seed
- ½ lb chopped almonds
- ½ lb mixed citron
- 6 cups molasses
- 2 tsp (baking) soda
- 1 quart flour
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
