
Egg and Rum
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- speck salt
- a few grains nutmeg
- 1 tbsp rum
Instructions
- Beat yolk, add sugar, salt and nutmeg; add milk and rum.
Notes
For consumptives, taken at about 6 a. m., often prevents the exhaustive sweats which accompany the morning doze. Also may be given to a patient before dressing to prevent exhaustion.
